El Tutu

$ 6100

In every KrisMarce collection there is one featured design. For the Pacific Soul line this design was inspired by the Tutunendo (“Tutu”) River. All along the river you can see fishing, families traveling, or merchants conducting their business from an iconic “Canoa”. The shape of these vessels is what inspired the design of this luxurious and iconic handbag. Every time you take a
glance at this design, the generational traditions of the river
-people from the Colombian Pacific are present.

    Majestic Atrato

    In the Pacific Region, rivers are life. Rivers are the symbolic reference points where everything is woven together. The Atrato River is the basis for fishing, food, transportation, and the economy. The Nudo Triple knot is used by sailors throughout the Atrato and is the symbol of multi -generation sailors. The knot has been elegantly incorporated into the design of the Majestic Atrato to symbolize generations of sailors past and present of the Pacific Region.

    Even the mighty Atrato River has limits. From the middle of the Atrato, a small fishing village named Tangui is the connection from the Atrato to the Tangui River. The Tangui extends Westward towards the Pacific coast. The Nudo del Ocho Knot is commonly seen along the Tangui river. This knot unites ropes, like the Village of Tangui unites two rivers for many communities who rely on the rivers for their livelihood.

    Iro´s Vanguard

    With record rainfalls (up to 500+ inches) in the Choco, it is no wonder that when the sun comes out, the jungle is one of the most vibrant green colors on the planet. By combining the beauty of the color and how it advances beyond the river is what inspires this design. This is the only product offered in green within the Pacific Soul collection. This design can be used as shoulder bag, crossbody, or clutch.
